Boasting 8 beautifully appointed rooms and 9 elegantly designed bathrooms with modern fitting and hot water, you are spoilt for choice for accommodation at Monsoon Villa. Staying true to the ancestral heritage of the villa, each of these rooms feature period pieces, from antique wooden beds to traditional ‘almirahs.’ The clean lines of the spacious air-conditioned rooms are dappled in natural light filtering through the mullioned windows.
The rooms comprise of -
- Two large family suites that can each comfortably accommodate up to 5 people are located in the two towers of the villa. Each suite contains one super luxury bed (larger than King size) and three single beds in a charming split-level arrangement within the tower, linked by an ornate satinwood stairway. With dual air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms, the suites also each feature an exclusive tower-top terrace. The magnificent panoramic views of the Kalpitiya Lagoon are unparalleled – there is no better way to unwind from the day’s activities than relax on one of these terraces. We also offer a unique private tower top dining experience, timing your meal with the glorious sunsets of Sri Lanka’s northwest coast.
- Three spacious triple rooms and one double room. With air conditioning and en suite bathrooms they are a great option for couples or families with a child. Each triple room contains one super luxury king sized bed and a large single bed.
- One spacious triple room and a small double room withtwo detached bathrooms, exclusively allocated to each room. Just a short distance from each room, these bathrooms have intentionally been kept separate to maintain the original aesthetics and honour the architectural integrity of this 150-year old heritage villa.

Vehicle parking, staff and drivers quarters is located away from Monsoon Villa, but within calling distance, in order to ensure convenience as well as privacy.
